This is trial 1 on making a ferrous magnetic liquid. This is not an attempt to make Ferrofluid which we also own and will be attempting to make soon. Nor is it an attempt at Magnetic Putty which we have about 10lbs of & will post videos soon.
The goal is to make a highly magnetic liquid that can be handled without making a mess - Easy Right? This solution is close but we will be experimenting with a few others as well.

Before putting the magnets in a plastic vial it was extremely difficult, almost impossible to get the magnetic fluid off of the magnets. I may try this technique on my real ferrofluid as wells.
